Green Ammonia

What is it?

It’s a sustainable approach to ammonia production that reduces carbon emissions and environmental impact. The current methods for the large scale production of Ammonia are very energy intensive and require the use of fossil fuels for Hydrogen production, and accounts for around 1.8% of global carbon emissions.

Ammonia is rich in hydrogen, and it can be a practical carrier for transporting and storing hydrogen. This has significant implications for the energy sector, especially in terms of renewable energy storage. The stored hydrogen can be used in fuel cells or other applications, providing a clean energy source when the sun isn’t shining or the wind isn’t blowing. It’s a step towards a more sustainable and flexible energy future.
